In the misty mountains of Huila, Colombia, brothers Nestor and Adrian Lasso are forging a new path in coffee. Growing up on their family’s farm, El Diviso, they developed a deep understanding of the land and the craft. Since taking over in 2019, they’ve dedicated themselves to perfecting their technique, seeking guidance from local experts and attending Latin America’s premier coffee school. Now, they’re pushing the boundaries of flavor with experimental varieties and innovative processing methods.

Pink Bourbon is a hybrid variety, believed to be a cross between Red Bourbon and Yellow Bourbon coffee plants. The exact genetic lineage is not fully documented, but it is known to inherit qualities from the Bourbon family, known for high-quality coffee. This variety is said to have been discovered
in Colombia. The coffee cherries are distinctive for their pinkish hue when ripe, which is less common compared to the typical red or yellow cherries of other Bourbon varieties.
